TechnoPartner uses the following definition:
- A natural or legal body that runs or prepares the start of a company (*), based on a new technical invention or a new application of existing technology. This regards the selling and supplying of products, processes and/or services (no advising).
A company in this context is defined as:
- being a maximum of 5 years registered at the Dutch Chamber of Commerce;
- meeting the EU SME definition.
